By now the spring summer collections have started hitting the stores and one thing that can be observed is that the fashion people are not done with embroidery yet. Still showing it’s presence in the most delicate pieces in the form of blouses, shirts to denim pants and jackets looks like embroidery is here to stay for one more season.
From a few collection previews I have been to and observing runways trends and updates from fashion weeks, there is a mix of a few new and fresh trends while some are carry forwards from earlier seasons. Ruffles, Frills and all things flowy are here to stay. Tulle, Embroidered florals, statement vibrant stripes, micro pleats, patchwork are a few trends which have started coming up on the radar. Pink is surely having a moment.
About this look, this is my very basic coffee date look. Right after we shot this look we headed to catch up a brekkie and some coffee. I have been into flowy silhouettes a lot given the delicate vibe these silhouettes emanate. Clubbing it with basic ripped jeans I rely on statement accessories to uplift the look. In this case the YSL collège bag, which has become my go-to bag lately.
