(L- R) Inglot Matte Lip Pencil / Crayon No. 22, 21, 23, 34, 28
October has been an exhilarating month launching the website, later the festive season and not one but two back to back traditional outfit posts something I tried for the first time on the blog which turned out way better than I had anticipated. Thanks to all you lovely readers for the love, support and appreciation. Hence I decided to put up a light beauty post. If you are a regular reader you must be aware that since my initial blog posts I have been wearing these Inglot Matte AMC pencils/crayons. I had accommodated a few in a Lip Crayons post but here in this post it’s all about these pencils.
About the pencils ( from Inglot Australia)
A pencil that is thick enough to use as lipstick, yet it can be sharpened to a fine point for precise application as a lip liner. Avocado oil moisturizes, smoothes, and regenerates the lips whilst the modern formula ensures a long lasting even coverage with a velvety matte finish.
Inglot Matte Lip Pencil / Crayon No. 21 – A true red
This particular shade is very close to Mac Ruby Woo its slightly on the warmer side. I use this shade as a lip liner for Ruby woo. Its a true red and I think will suit almost all Indian skintones. I am wearing this shade here
Inglot Matte Lip Pencil / Crayon No. 22 – Dark rose pink
This shade is the first one I picked. I have observed this particular shade photographs differently even with slight change in light conditions. In some pictures it is more inclined towards the brown side and in some towards brick red. Before I got shade no. 23 this one was my everyday lip colour and it goes with almost all outfits. I am wearing this shade here and here
Inglot Matte Lip Pencil / Crayon No. 23 – Neutral pink with warm undertones
This shade is my everday lipcolour shade. It is a beautiful neutral pink which will suit all skintones. I am wearing this shade in a selfie I posted here on Instagram.
Inglot Matte Lip Pencil / Crayon No. 28 – Fuchsia pink with purple undertones
This is one bang on shade which is surely going to get you noticed hence I wear it very carefully. I am wearing this shade in a selfie I posted here
Inglot Matte Lip Pencil / Crayon No. 34 – Deep muted Burgundy
This shade I find perfect for fall. Its not to dark to look overwhelming. I am wearing this shade in the post Ethnic Allure here .This shade has easily become my fall favourite.
Now coming to the plus points of these pencils I like the versatility of these Lip crayons as the pencils can be used as both lip liners and lipsticks. Previously these pencils required sharpening which is a major let down as a lot of product is wasted in sharpening. This is the main reason I refrain from buying lip crayons which require sharpening. I just cannot see so much product getting wasted. Thankfully they changed the packaging and now the pencil is twist up retractable type, the point needs to be sharpened but only when one needs to use it as a lip liner. These pencils have creamy matte texture and are highly pigmented so few swipes and you get true colour. Due to the creamy texture the pencil glides on the lips without tugging or pulling, which is a major factor one needs to consider while purchasing a matte lipstick. In winters as we know all matte lipstick tend to make lips dry, I apply little lip balm to counter this. The quantity is worth the money. These pencils are available in I think almost 20-23 shades ranging from Pinks , Rose, Peach, Browns to Reds.
