Blazer – Topshop | Jeans – Zara | Top – Cotton World | Bag – Zara | Shoes – Zara
Since onset of December the temperatures have gone down a little bit, this city doesn’t really experience harsh winters hence heavy layers like woollen coats and leather jackets are not an option. At such times a sleeveless blazer is perfect as it gives the right amount of comfort.
You guys must have seen this grey blazer on my Instagram a couple of months back when Topshop launched online in India.
The silhouette is pretty interesting structured and sans sleeves it’s a great piece for some light layering and adding a laid back charm to the look. For styling this look initially I was going for a semi formal approach by pairing this jacket with pinstripe pants. But given the playful vibe of the blazer and not to forget the time of the year when all of us are in joyous mood a casual outfit fitted more aptly. A similar jacket in a deeper hue preferably black/maroon paired with a beautiful sequins top and classy a pair of shorts is one way to make this piece work in your party outfit.
This whole month I have been talking about deep tones hues and fall palettes. Other than deep tones work with icy or frosty hues like greys, whites and frosty blues. Keeping the color palette pretty simple I stuck to neutrals and paired the blazer with a simple white top with cut out accents and my favourite pair of ripped denim. Finally to add some edge to the look this black studded bag and pointed heels.
