Before I started blogging I didn’t really have what one would call a adventurous wardrobe not that I didn’t experiment with clothes but when it came to styles like skater dresses or skirts I own only a couple of them those suitable for parties and events. I am not that fond of skater dresses or skirts, not that they are unappealing but I think I am more biased towards pencil / tube shape, straight fit and shift dresses.
Ever since I started blogging I have been experimenting even more with clothes, previously I wouldn’t pick up a simple skater dress like this one here. I am so glad I did as I totally love the girlyness it brings out. Prints like plaid and houndstooth are reserved for fall. Sometimes they are a major trend and sometimes just at the back end but have held strong in the fashion firmament.
I find these burgundy oxfords perfect for fall. For some of you who are confused between oxfords and brogues I have done a little research for you guys. Both are two different types of footwear. One thing that is a distinguishing factor between the two is that brogues have these perforations and a ‘ wing tip ‘ cap, the cap of the shoe forms a design which looks like a “W”. Brogues can be oxfords with brogue design detailing. Even Mary Jane’s or ballet flats can have brogue detailing.
To finish of the look I added this beautiful bag and a gorgeous contemporary ring. This look can be great as a subtle festive look, just add a pair of pumps and some jewellery and you are good to go.
Also, Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
