Ever since the 70’s kicked in fashion enthusiasts all around the globe have embraced various seventies trends with great panache and elan. While the crop top flared midi skirt have been everyone’s favorite given the seventies influence it’s the crop top & high rise palazzo/flared pants combination that’s catching up pretty fast.
Recently while through a fashion website I came across this article (read here) about how fashion houses encourage a three piece rule for their employees. Your bottoms and top are your first and second pieces, and the third piece is an extra element to the outfit which can be anything from outerwear to statement accessories. The motive of this idea is to achieve a refined, polished look and add flair to it.
After reading the article I noticed that voluntarily and sometimes unknowingly I have been using this rule hence in this post I thought of putting it out as a style tip. This same philosophy I have used in styling this look. While the crop top and palazzo pants alone would have lead to a slightly plain look, to add that additional nuance to the outfit I have complemented the look with few contemporary statement accessories. I have toned down the colors in the outfit and have infused in different hues through the accessories and to complete the look a beautiful fishtail braid.
