With a contemporary update there has been a resurgence of Embroidery on the international fashion circuit. While talking about the Indian fashion scene, we are no strangers to embroidery or appliqués. In fact embroidery is an integral part of Indian fashion be it traditional or even contemporary pieces. Sequins and beads embroidery has always been around it is the thread embroidery and patchwork that is making waves.
Since all the things 90’s are in, Embroidery and patch work are back like never before. Thread embroidery associated only with bohemian looks earlier has now entered the mainstream fashion pieces from denims, shift dresses, shirts to outerwear and even shoes and accessories.
After blogging and creating looks for so long while sourcing pieces for styling a look, my first instinct is to check the versatility of a piece. How many different ways can it be styled. Seldom you will find dresses which can be worn as a top effortlessly. It is also equally important to pair the top(dress) with correct bottoms which are in sync with the silhouette of the top. To complement the bright hues of the embroidery I paired it with my Blue Sac de jour and neutral sandals to complete the look.
