While gold jewellery is synonymous with opulence and majesty, its grey counterpart silver has an enigmatic aura and an element of mystic to it. Bohemian silver pieces have been in trend for quite sometime now but silver pieces inspired from indian or traditional motifs have a different charm of their own. When it comes to silver jewellery I am always on the look out for interesting pieces. I had picked these pieces from Amrapali’s Chandrika collection some time back and was waiting for the perfect outfit which would act as a canvas for these beautiful intricate jewellery. My affinity towards silver is already quite apparent from my previous posts. And these alluring pieces have given my obession with all things silver a new turn.
As much as I would love pairing silver with black I decided to style an outfit with a color scheme complimenting the hues present in the necklace. Hence I went for rust color shift dress and paired it with pastel blue pumps. Minimal is the new chic and I have been embracing boxy and flowy silhouettes like never before. The tailored high-low curved hem with side vents adds an airy vibe. Also another thing I like about the dress is its flattering and forgiving dress style.I personally prefer shift dresses like the one here which are slightly tailored.
I opted for slightly neutral makeup with a dusry rose lip color, bold eyeliner and some contouring. Finished up with a half updo to keep those beautiful tassel earrings the centre of attention.
