If you have followed my updates from last season you might have observed I am clearly obsessed with culottes and wide legged cropped pants. As the temperatures have soared I am practically living in comfy airy culottes.

This summer I have been particularly experimental with my denims, from straight fits to flared, embroidered to frill hem I have tried to include as many new styles as possible. Given how comfy culottes are a denim one has always been on my must try list.

Radically different from the denim styles we are used to denim culottes are a style that elicits mixed reactions, can prove intimidating at first. Easiest way to style a denim culotte would be pairing it with a casual t-shirt, any thing well fitted and proportioned. The key lies in balancing the wide and flared proportions.

As these culottes tend to be high-waisted one can easily pair it with a crop top or an off shoulder top. In case you want to get more experimental then pair it with a cropped jacket like the one I have paired with in the pictures above. To complete this off duty look I added loafer mules and my classic flap bag.
