Pastels have been my favourites this whole summer. Not a huge trend this season having said that pastels go hand-in-hand with the sunny season, given their delicate and airy vibe I still feel a summer wardrobe is incomplete without a dash of pastels to it. Pastels in their subtle way can be your best aide to counter even a gloomy day. For a few seasons pastels have also been a fall/winter favourite.
Since the onset of spring from my various updates both on the blog and instagram you must have obeserved I have been indulging myself a lot into pastels from pastel macarons to pastel fashion accessories. My pastel pink J’adore clutch is an absolute favourite and perfect for a sunny or even a gloomy day. Then be it my pastel blue pointed pumps and a recent acquisition this beautiful mint shoulder bag. Although I haved experimented with different bag styles, most of the times I have stuck to safe colors like black, tan and nude. This mint number comes as a fresh change to my otherwise neutral stash.
Coming to the styling, to avoid the look from crossing the boundary to become overly cute I paired this gracious A-line midi skirt with a t-shirt having sporty influences and pastel floral details. Finishing off the look with this mint number and a trusty pair of aviators.
