Picking up where we left off on summer essentials here’s another look with summer’s favourite – the classic florals and crop tops. While florals are an age-old summer classic, crop tops have almost become an all year round favourite.

Mixing prints or patterns & prints can be pretty daunting and hence many people shy away from it. Stripes and floral is the most basic type of print mixing and you can hardly go wrong with it. Stripes especially black and white stripes, pretty much the neutrals of stripes go with almost everything. Another key to mixing prints is matching colors. In case you are bored with pairing solid tops with floral skirts then a striped crop top is the easiest way to amp up your look.

While my earlier post on florals had pretty dainty design this time I opted for bigger and bolder florals. Picking up from the black accents in the skirt I paired it with a black and white striped crop top. Adding to the carefree casual vibe of the look I went for heavy curls. Also I happened to be carrying this beautiful book I am reading currently on Coco Chanel, which is a must read in case you are a Fashion lover.
