Fashion rules, do’s and dont’s honestly I haven’t given much heed to any such rules. I have always emphasized the importance of one’s individuality and personal sense of style. When ever I have researched a particular trend or style I have moulded the same in my personal style experimenting in few instances, reimagining according to my comfort levels.

From my various outfits both on the blog and other ootd diaries you must have guessed I prefer my boyfriend jeans more than skinnes hence I knew boyfriend shirt was going to be my next stop. For this particular look I went ahead and raided my husband’s closet and chose one of his crisp white shirts. Rather than just layering it I experimented with the shirt by knotting it and to make it look ladylike and hid the knot, further creating the illusion of lapels with the placket of the shirt.

While styling Boyfriend shirts there is no need feel intimidated by the straight silhouette as experimenting is the key ; from something as easy and simple as layering to turning it into a shirt dress, off shoulder top the possibilities are many. It’s all about what vibe one wants to channel through the outfit. Coming to the outfit, keeping the remainder of the look feminine I paired the shirt with a printed pencil skirt and burgundy pointed toe shoes and completed the look with silver accents.
