As promised I am sharing with you lovely readers more pictures from the feature post which I did in collaboration with The Society, an online lifestyle magazine. In case you haven’t read the post yet you can follow this link to read it. Their website caters not only to the fashionista avatar in a woman but also the homemaker, the working women and the entrepreneur.

For the post they asked me to showcase my style and the brand so instead of choosing a particular trend I chose to style a look for them. That is what I love doing most, concentrate on the styling. The moment you see the color navy and a pinstripe pattern on top, it’s immediately reminiscent of a very corporate or formal outfit. Pinstripes are always associated with dull office attire. Having said that, the ribbed neckline detail, boxy style, cropped length and the pocket detail add a sporty feel to the top and the pinstripe pattern does emanate a sense of confidence. The pleated trousers are also on similar lines of formal meets sporty. The best thing about high-rise trousers is when done correctly, they can be both figure flattering and elongating. The style of the pants is formal but the zip detailing on the sides adds a sporty feel to it. I find both these pieces versatile as one can go either formal or casual with them. For such looks usually I wear minimal accessories. To keep the look polished I paired it with chic black pointed toe pumps and an equally stylish white handbag.
